Todd W. Turley, M.D.

Dr. Todd Turley is fellowship trained in Pain Medicine and practices using a multi-disciplinary approach. He received his undergraduate degree from Arizona State University and went on to receive his medical degree from the University of Arizona College Of Medicine in Tucson. After completing his residency in Anesthesiology at the Mayo Clinic Rochester, Dr. Turley completed his fellowship in Pain Medicine from Mayo Clinic studying under some of the most respected pain specialist in the country.

Dr. Turley received his Advanced Interventional Pain Certification while in training and specializes in spinal injection techniques as well as treating cancer pain. Some of the techniques Dr. Turley specializes in include sympathetic blocks, spinal cord stimulators, intrathecal pump implantations, discograms, vertebroplasty, radiofrequency ablation, disk decompression and peripheral nerve blocks.


After training, Dr. Turley returned to his native home of Arizona with his wife and children. When he is not practicing medicine, the Turley’s enjoy the outdoors hiking across the beautiful state of Arizona. Dr. Turley can empathize with many of his patients, having had back surgery as a teenager he feels staying active is an important component of managing chronic pain. Dr. Turley stated “this has changed my approach as a physician in management of my patients with chronic pain. I think that understanding the impact of chronic pain on the lives of patients is one of the biggest obstacles that we face as physicians”.

Dr. Turley is a member of the American Society of Anesthesia, American Society of Regional Anesthesia, American Medical Society and the American Academy of Pain Medicine.
